An afternoon of Bavarian feasting, beer and live music!
Get ready to raise a stein as Bistro Lago brings Oktoberfest to The Terraces Garden at Hilton Lake Taupo on 24 & 25 October!
From 12pm – 5pm, we’re bringing the spirit of Bavaria to Taupo with a special authentic German menu, created by our very own German Executive Chef Rudolf W. Segers, celebrating the hearty flavours and traditional favourites of Oktoberfest. Pair you feast with a refreshing Sawmill Wheat Beer and plenty of Prost!
Bringing the celebration to life will be The Bierkunstlers, a 10-piece Oktoberfest band serving up traditional German favourites, classic singalongs and crowd-pleasers through-out the afternoon.
Gather your friends, come hungry and join us for an afternoon of German food, beer and live entertainment!

Get ready to raise your stein and raise your voice! The Bierkunstlers, Oompah Band brings the unmistakable energy of a traditional German beer hall together with some of the biggest crowd-pleasers ever written.
